New Feature on Vizzy: Brand Q&A
By Jess Woodward-Jones, co-founder of Vizzy
Vizzy has released a new feature that I’m slightly crazy about.
On Vizzy profiles, candidates can now answer real questions sourced and curated from some of the best brands in the world – giving talent even more ways to better signal their skills and ideas that are impossible to show on a CV.
From our new Brand Q&A library, candidates can optionally pick questions that take their fancy to further demonstrate to employers how they troubleshoot, create, and think.
For example, here’s one from Meta: “Open an app on your phone. Critique its design. What works, what doesn’t, and why?”
Or this lovely question from Airbnb: “How have you created a sense of belonging for others?”
Or, my personal favourite, The Walt Disney Company: “Which Disney character are you most like, and why?”
And of-course, in true Vizzy fashion, these answers can be brought to life with multimedia.
So why have we built this?
Because the Class of 2026 hasn’t become harder to assess.
Old methods have become worse at assessing them.
There’s an interesting generational shift happening in early talent: some of a candidate’s most commercially useful skills may now exist completely outside their employment history or education.
We’re seeing it show up on Vizzy profiles every day.
The barista with 2 million TikTok views talking about football might understand audience development, hooks, content formats, community and analytics better than someone with two years of “social media” in their job title.
The retail assistant running a successful Vinted store on the side has learned merchandising, pricing, customer service, photography, copywriting and e-commerce without any degree.
But how do we assess any of this talent when we’re still so hung up on job titles and education as the first gateway to opportunity?
If businesses want ‘the x factor’ in their teams they’ve got to give their most-engaged candidates the chance to go beyond the norm.
For decades, hiring has essentially asked: “Where have you demonstrated this professionally?”
For the Class of 2026, there’s a better question: “Can you show us what you can do?”
That’s exactly what Vizzy is designed to unlock – at scale.
But this particular feature takes that idea even further.
And the results so far speak for themselves.
